I never get enough of the magnificent view of snow even though I have seen it so many times, as always it looks so magical to me.
Early this year Seb and I took a ski trip with many friends to Krimml, Austria. It was a whole wonderful week. We enjoyed our company, and the time we spent there.
It had snow everywhere, and the local people had trouble getting it off their rooftop. On the sidewalk, it was 2 meters high and cold between -11 to -17 degree. Definitely cold, but thanks to my new set of winter cloth I was warm when outside. And fortunately, we had good weather for the whole week.
During the trip, I got to experience 3 new winter activities. It was a snow walk with snowshoes, and I love it. Riding a horse carriage during which I drank a lot of schnapps, but when I say a lot, it meant almost nothing ;). And I learnt how to ski the first time in my life. It was pretty cool, and I'm happy I did it. All in all it was one of the most exceptional experiences, and I think I'm going to do that again next year. Perhaps I'm getting better at skiing ;)
I will stop writing now. I will not go into the details of the trip, but I will leave some photos all of which only took via phone. I hope these photos will bring you some sense of winter and joy to you as I had to me during my trip.
